How to sew (quick guide)
Needles: Universal 70/10–80/12
Thread: Quality thread (e.g., Gütermann)
Pressing: Medium heat with steam; this cotton loves a clapper for crisp seams
Finishes: Overlock, zigzag, or pinked + stitched; French seams for a tidy inside finish
Care
- Pre-wash (20–40°C) before cutting to minimise shrinkage
- Wash inside-out with similar colours; line dry or low tumble - I tend to do both. I start the prewashed fabric in the tumble dryer for 10-20 minutes then finish on the washing line
- Light steam on reverse
- Do not Dry Clean
