Needles: Universal 70/10–80/12
Thread: All-purpose thread
Seams: Overlock/zigzag; or French seams for a couture inside
Pressing: Medium heat + steam; use a clapper for razor-sharp edges
Opacity: Generally good; add a light lining for pale colours if you prefer
