True Bias Roscoe Blouse and Dress (0-18) (14-30)

True Bias Roscoe Blouse and Dress (0-18) (14-30)

The Roscoe Blouse and Dress is an oversized garment with a gathered neckline and raglan sleeves. The neckline is finished with a centre slit and neck ties. The sleeves are designed to hit above the wrist. View A is a blouse, View B is a mini dress or tunic and View C hits mid-calf. Views B and C have a large ruffle at the bottom. I have made the blouse and dress versions but made alterations to both the hem and sleeve finishes. There are so many ways to change this pattern up alongside what you get in the pattern to stretch your own abilities and practice new skills.

Fabric & notions from my shop

  • Art Gallery Fabrics Capri toile Viscose - riviera vibes with the most beautiful seaside town prints in blues and greens and interspersed with yellow lemons and the most beautiful drape that viscose is known for.
  • Hot Pink Viscose Crepe - nothing makes a statement like hot pink and this viscose crepe does not disappoint. With the drape and movement to make you feel hot while keeping you cool.
  • White Voile Cotton Dobby - a little sheer but essentially beautiful. This voile cotton dobby would make a beautiful beach cover up with the Roscoe dress version.
  • Art Gallery Fabrics Cottage Favourite - one of the first ever AGF viscose that I used to sew up some Tilly and the Buttons Safiya Trousers, so this fabric is a special one for me and will always be available in the shop. The daisy print camomile print just makes me think of sipping tea in the garden while collecting the flowers to dry for next year.
