Tip: For adult waistbands, 25–38 mm elastic is usually comfier; use 6 mm for multi-row channels or smaller casings.
How to use (quick guide)
Pre-shrink with a hot wash if your project will be laundered hot.
For waists, cut to waist measurement minus 2–5 cm, join ends, and quarter-mark.
Feed through the casing with a bodkin/safety pin; stitch-in-the-ditch at side seams to prevent twisting.
For multi-row finishes, sew parallel channels spaced 8–12 mm apart and feed a 6 mm elastic through each.
